The 2nd Annual CIGIF 2011 Results
in a Great Success
22 Countries Participated with Selected International Panel of Judges
On August 25th, Korea Invention News (KINEWS) hosted the second annual Cyber International Genius Inventor Fair 2011 (CIGIF 2011) in which the award ceremony was held at Chungmu Art Hall Convention Centre in Seoul, Korea.
The event was joined by various representatives from overseas: President Mr. Hsieh Hsin-Ming of Taiwan Invention Intellectual Property Association (TIIPA), Vice-President Mr. Robert Bobo Ostojic of Croatian Inventors Association (CAI), President Mr. Patrick Lok Lam of International Intellectual Property Network Forum (IIPNF), Representative Mr. Ahmed Abd Alla Mohamed ElMasry of Egyptian Inventors Union (EIU).
Also, representatives from Korea: President Mr. Shin Suk Kyun of Korea Invention Society, Honorary President Ms. Ha Sang Nam of Asia Invention Association Korean Branch, Patent Lawyer Mr. Choi Sun Bae of DongSuh Patent Law Office, etc many VIP members were invited to take part in the ceremony.
The event was a great success with a total of 22 countries taking the prominent role to transform such fair into a much more international event compared to last year, fortifying CIGIF's international identity on the world-wide map of inventors.
CIGIF was organized with a vital purpose to recognize the importance and significance of intellectual properties of the 21st century as well as internationalization of international inventors within the digital cyber era we are living in today.
In addition, within the world-wide cyber space, the fair enables to exercise the sharing of various new ideas from numerous inventors from around the world in order to initiate the excavation of new generations of human resources, reinforce the mutual interchange of information and network.
This year's awarded inventions were evaluated and examined by international panel of judges from inventor associations and groups from various countries. Those recognized names from CIGIF are to be propelled onto "Genius Inventors Class", in other words, the hall of fame of Korea Invention News.
On the day of the ceremony, the glory of the Grand Awards were bestowed to HWANG YOON SANG and CHOI YONG SUK of Korea, VILKO ZILJAK of Croatia and JAR-YUAN PAI of Taiwan, each of them were given with grand award certificates, grand trophies along with prize money of 200 US dollars.
Semi-Grand Awards were presented to CHOI YONG SUK, LIM SUH HWAN, LEE JUNG HOON and KIM YOUNG RAN of Korea. All of them received semi-grand award certificates, semi-trophies and the prize money of 100 US dollars.
The glory of Special Award presented from Taiwan Invention Intellectual Property Association (TIIPA) were passed towards KWAK SOO BIN, KIM GUN RI, KIM MOON CHUL, KIM YOUNG KI, SEO SEUNG IL, JEUN YOU HYEONG, CHO SANG WON and KIM HYUN JUN of Korea.
Publisher Hong, Soung-Mo of Korea Invention News, the organizing chairman of CIGIF shared his thoughts during the opening introduction of the ceremony, "I am very blissful that there are a total of 22 countries participated in this year's CIGIF 2011. Despite the fact that it is only the second annual event, the number of participated countries are as many as compared to other international invention fairs in overseas," and further added, "for the following year, Korea Invention News will always be on their feet to be much more proactive upon preparing for an even bigger CIGIF to 'upgrade' national and international inventors' spotlights and I ask all international visitors and representatives for their continuous support and co-operation to develop this special event."
President Hsieh, Hsin-Ming of Taiwan Invention Intellectual Property Association (TIIPA) commented through his congratulatory message, "I hope that this special day of CIGIF award ceremony does not only end as an invention fair, but also carry a valuable and meaningful opportunity for world-wide inventors to share their knowledge and information of brand new ideas with one another," and added, "I promise to support CIGIF to grow and develop such event into one of the world's greatest inventor fair."
An award winner from Taiwan mentioned, "I am very happy to be awarded with my invention at an international invention fair," and added, "I plan to modify and enhance my recognized invention idea at CIGIF in order to apply for patent."
